A private house situated on a piece of land that used to be an orchard, surrounded by apple trees and high hedges. It’s a modern reinterpretation of the traditional brick building of the Scania region in southern Sweden. The house has a simple shape and a low profile which blends well into the surrounding landscape.

The exterior of the house consists of sand-colored brick with light joints, wooden windows and a black roof. The inside of the house is defined by a central core of white-oiled plywood that can be accessed from all sides. The use of natural building materials was one of the key themes when designing the house.
